'The
memoir course was one of the most pleasurable experiences of my writing
life and I find it hard to see any way in which it could be improved.
The surroundings, the organisation, the food, the accommodation, the
relaxed atmosphere, everything was ideal and I had a great time. I
hope the courses continue to go from strength to strength. I'd recommend
them to fellow tutors and to students'

'The
course was a delight. I found the whole experience invigorating and
inspiring. ....I think what you are doing is terrific...... I've given
writing courses in the past but I never felt that the writers and
I got as much out of them as we got out of the Dingle Experience.
I'll recommend you to all aspiring and practising writers'
Ita Daly (Tutor) |
'There
was a general consensus that, at a single hearing, (Gébler) had captured
the essence of the text and passed acute observations which encouraged
each writer. The critical yet compassionate gaze was all that was
needed to raise morale as each student emerged with renewed energy
to attack their draft'
Michael McCaughan of the Irish Times,
on Carlo Gébler's Memoir course. |
